Non-Resident Student Enrollment Policy

Nonresident Student Enrollment Capacity 

USD 307 will have the capacity to accept new nonresident students for the 2024-2025 school year. Based on the projected enrollment and capacity to operate effectively, USD 307 will accept nonresident students as outlined in the table below. Students living outside of the USD 307 boundary must formally apply for nonresident enrollment and use the application linked below which will be available on or before June 1, 2024. The completed application and school records must be received by no later than June 30, 2024.  Students may be denied acceptance for not meeting the USD 307 Student in Good Standing Policy or for falsifying information on the application.  Students not selected in the lottery will be drawn to determine an order and if positions open they will be contacted according to the list to be notified of the opening.

USD 307 has openings for nonresident students in the following grades:

Kindergarten -   22

1st Grade  -        11

2nd Grade -        13

3rd Grade -         18

4th Grade -         15

5th Grade -           5

6th Grade -           0 (no openings)

7th Grade -           8

8th Grade -           3

9th Grade -           4

10th Grade -         12

11th Grade -         6

12th Grade -         10

Applications are available at www.ellsaline.org.  They may also be picked up and returned to the USD 307 District Office at 412 E Anderson, Brookville, KS 67425-0157.
