I am excited to be in my third year of teaching first grade at Ell-Saline Elementary. Before coming to USD 307, I have ten years experience in the education field, I began my teaching journey as a preschool teacher and also have experience working in the special education field. I recently got married in October, 2023 and live with my husband and our three dogs in Salina, KS. Some of my hobbies include; reading, traveling, cooking, collecting gnomes, and staying active. I am passionate about fostering positive relationships with each of my students, as well as, providing a supportive, safe, fun and positive learning environment where they are able to flourish. I work diligently to promote each of my students' individual desire to learn and to help them develop their self-confidence. I am looking forward to meeting all my new students and having an amazing 2023-2024 school year!
