I am excited to be in my sixth year of teaching first grade at Ell-Saline Elementary. Before coming to USD 307, I have ten years experience in the education field, I began my teaching journey as a preschool teacher and also have experience working in the special education field. I completed my masters degree in Integrated Curriculum in 2025 and am looking forward to utilizing my new knowledge in the classroom this year. My husband, our two year old son son, and our two dogs live in Salina, KS. We are expecting our second child, a baby girl, in December 2026. Some of my hobbies include; reading, traveling, cooking, collecting gnomes, and staying active. I am passionate about fostering positive relationships with each of my students, as well as, providing a supportive, safe, fun and positive learning environment where they are able to flourish. I work diligently to promote each of my students individual desire to learn and to help them develop their self-confidence. I am looking forward to meeting all my new students and having an amazing 2025-2026 school year!
