I started teaching in 1985 at the 6th grade level. After teaching 6th grade for 4 years, I went to Fort Hays State University and received my master's degree in School Counseling. I was the K-8 School Counselor for Remington School District for 10 years. I attended Baker University and received my endorsement as a K-8 School Administrator. After being a K-8 Principal, I completed my endorsement as a 6-12 Special Education Teacher from Emporia State University. I just finished my 10th year as a 7-12 Special Education Teacher. I continue looking forward to assisting students in USD 307 as the 7-12 Social /Emotional Counselor/Mental Health Liaison.
