Glenn and Barbara Pfannenstiel Walker Vocational Scholarship
Glenn Walker, a 1964 graduate of Brookville High School, and his wife, Barbara, dedicated their lives to education. Their two sons, Tom and Jeff, are both college instructors, reflecting the Walker family’s deep commitment to learning.
To honor their legacy, the Walker family established this vocational scholarship to support Ell-Saline High School students pursuing further education.
Scholarship Details
- Award Amount: $1,000 (one-time award)
- Eligibility: Students pursuing a vocational/technical program, a one- or two-year certification, or an associate degree
- Application Availability: March 1
- Application Deadline: April 15 (submit to the Guidance Office)
- Selection Process: A committee of vocational instructors will review applications based on character, ambition, responsibility, attendance, and financial need.
- Winner Announcement:Signing Day in April
- Distribution: The check will be sent directly to the college financial aid office upon proof of enrollment.
