The Ell-Saline eSports team put up a strong fight against an undefeated Holton squad this week in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Braxton Denning battled through two close games with Snake, and Eli Flores handed Holton’s Ridley player his first loss of the season with King K. Rool. Senior Porter Bell kept the momentum rolling, sweeping his set 2–0 with Bowser and giving Holton its first game loss of the year.

Holton pulled out the final set in two tight matches, taking the overall win, but our Cardinals showed real grit and growth.

Ell-Saline moves to 1–1 on the season and is ready for next week’s match!
