A Day in the Life of a Bulldog
College Visit for Seniors
Good afternoon, Senior Parents! We are excited to provide our seniors with an opportunity to experience college life at McPherson College! During our visit, students will participate in “A Day in the Life of a Bulldog,” an interactive campus experience designed to help them explore academic programs, discover campus resources, and connect with current college students. Rather than a traditional campus tour, students will participate in a campus scavenger hunt, select a hands-on experience based on their interests, enjoy lunch with college students, and learn about clubs, activities, and campus life.
Visit Highlights:
-
9:30 AM: Arrive at McPherson College
-
10:00 AM: Campus Scavenger Challenge
-
10:45 AM: Explore academic interests through hands-on experiences
-
11:30 AM: Lunch with college students
-
12:15 PM: Clubs, activities, and campus involvement
-
12:30 PM: Student Q&A, followed by a group photo and departure
I've attached the itinerary so you can see what students can expect throughout the day. My goal is to provide our seniors with opportunities to explore their options after graduation, ask meaningful questions, and begin envisioning themselves in a college environment. Lunch Information: Students are welcome to bring their own lunch for our visit to McPherson College. If you typically bring your lunch from home, please plan to do so. For students who normally receive lunch through the Ell-Saline cafeteria, a sack lunch will be prepared and provided for the trip.Thank you for supporting these college and career exploration opportunities!
