October ESE Students of the Month

Congratulations to our October Students of the Month! Throughout the month these students demonstrated the skills that were taught during our weekly Family lessons by being a self-advocate or advocating for others.

What is advocacy? Advocacy means standing up for what you believe in and helping others. It's about speaking up when something doesn't seem right or when someone needs help. Advocates listen to others and try to make things better. Being an advocate also means listening to others and understanding how they feel. You might not always agree, but you still respect their opinion. Advocacy is not just about using your voice; it's about helping in ways that make a difference, whether that's through kind words, actions, or standing up for someone in need. Everyone can be an advocate by being kind, helping others, and standing up for what's right!
