FCCLA junior, Delaney Gibson, teaches 2nd grade students about the Power of Yet!

Delaney Gibson (ESH Junior) recently visited both 2nd-grade classrooms to teach an inspiring lesson on growth mindset and the power of "yet." As part of her FCCLA Focus on Children STAR Event project, Delaney guided students through an interactive and engaging session.

During the lesson, students took on a fun challenge, listened to the uplifting story The Magical Yet, and unleashed their creativity by drawing their own magical "yet". They also reflected on new skills they wanted their magical yet to help them achieve.

This hands-on experience encouraged students to embrace perseverance and the belief that they can accomplish anything with time, effort, and the right mindset!
