Mrs. Billinger's 4th grade learns about mass
Recently, Mrs. Billinger's 4th grade science class did an experiment about mass. Each group had a ramp, tape measure, plastic cups, and water bottles with different amount. All the materials were the exact same to avoid having confounding variables. The students released the bottle from the top of the ramp and measured how far it pushed the plastic cup. During the experiment the students were trying to answer the following question, "How will increasing the mass of the bottle change the distance that the cup is pushed?
